The Importance Of Government Institutions

Our entire modern world is held up by two kinds of institutions: private and governmental.

When looking at reach of the government, in the USA’s early years it was weak  especially by today's standards. Over time private institutions grew while governmental ones stayed relatively the same.

This allowed private institutions to take advantage of the everyday person as industry in the United Stages grew.
At the time politicians cared more about growing American industry than they did about the rights of the working and everyday people.

It was eventually through democracy that governmental institutions grew and private ones became checked.
It’s not a coincidence that as these institutions  have been built up that life has gotten better for the vast majority of people.

Now don’t give me wrong, there’s a lot of really bad companies in pretty much every aspect of our economy.

Corporations employ lobbyists that keep feeding corruption within our government thus making it so The only way to move the bar is through a tremendous social push.

I am still in full criticism of our healthcare industry but just think about it for a second, without regulation from the government they would be able to take advantage of you 1 billion times more than they already do.

A lot of good hard-working people had to die in order to get the kind of regulation we have now, but sadly it has been long enough now that general amnesia has set in and people are picking up the same foolish ideas people tried to continue doing back then.

People don’t realize the fragility of the tower that we’re standing on. If just our food supply chain shuts down people starve to death, a lot of people.

Elon and the other corporate giants have spent time and money making people distrust institutions so they can get away with making even more money through deregulation.

The only thing hope we have for now is that the fragile tower we’re standing on begins to sway back-and-forth so much it wakes some of us up.

At the end of the day we are still a democracy and  if enough of the people take action through every legitimate means we have we can make our “fragile” tower more stable.
